It is safe to say that humans are the reincarnation of each other. You can see and confirm this in the similar resemblance, characters, lifestyle, mindset and behaviours that we display, which can be dated back to the people who once existed with us but are no longer.
This is an observable similarity between the lives of Ariana Grande and the late Hollywood Actress Audrey Hepburn. From displaying the same fashion inspo to recreating some of the late actress’s iconic styles, you would not only say that Hepburn is Grande’s role model, but she is also the modern version of Audrey Hepburn.

As we go further into this piece, let’s discuss how Ariana Grande has drawn inspiration and motivation from the late superstar.
But first, let’s briefly get into the early life of Hepburn.
Audrey Hepburn was a common household name in the 1940s – 1960s. Hepburn was born in Brussels, Belgium, in 1929 and had her childhood experience during World War I. She was the daughter of Englishman Joseph Ruston and Dutch baroness Ella Van Heemstra.

Growing up for the young Hepburn was challenging. At age 6, Hepburn’s father left the family, and her mother stepped in and sent her to live in Kent, where she was educated in a private school.
But just at the start of World War I, Hepburn’s mother had to take her back to Arnhem in the hope that the Netherlands would remain neutral and spared a German attack. While there, Hepburn attended the Arnhem Conservatory from 1939 to 1945, where she took ballet lessons and gradually migrated to acting after the war due to not being physically fit to become a ballerina.
This is quite a similar occurrence in the life of Grande, who also started her career at 13. Like Hepburn, Grande began acting before she moved to music.

According to Grande, music had always been her first choice.
Despite Hepburn having an excellent acting career with awards and recognition, she lived a sad life. The origin of this sadness can be traced to when Hepburn’s father left them.
Ever since then, Hepburn has experienced nothing but difficulty, sadness and pain. Although she later found her father with the hope of reconnecting with him, it was unsuccessful as her father was emotionally detached from her.
Grande has also had her share of life difficulties, as she has previously suffered post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety after the Manchester Arena bombing. Some instances showed that Grande once struggled with her relationship with her father before they recently mended it.
Grande has also struggled with hypoglycemia, which she attributed to poor dietary habits. This is also a similar thing in Hepburn’s life. She also suffered nutritional issues due to malnutrition during the Nazi attack.
Aside from all these similarities so far between the two women, Grande has publicly made it known that Hepburn was someone she admired and got inspiration from.
In a 2010 tweet by Grande, she acknowledged that Hepburn’s Breakfast at Tiffany was her favourite movie. During the tour of her recent movie/project Wicked, all the iconic looks worn by Grande looked like they came straight out of Audrey Hepburn’s wardrobe.

This shows how much Ariana Grande loved the late superstar, as there were many occasions when she tried to recreate some of Hepburn’s previous looks.
These two women also have a common thing for humanity. During the lifetime of Audrey Hepburn, she was involved in numerous humanitarian works. The notable one was her involvement with UNICEF for children’s welfare.
On the other hand, Grande is also passionate about charity causes too. A couple of times, Grande has used her talents and the profits that came out of them to make the lives of less privileged people better.
Audrey Hepburn is one person who isn’t so lucky with her relationships and marriages. With a track record of two failed marriages, Hepburn couldn’t but feel so unloved and lonely.
Grande might have faced the same fate with her failed marriage to real estate agent Dalton Gomez, which ended in divorce due to irreconcilable differences.
Even though the similarities are a little scary, it is obvious Grande might be re-living the life of Audrey Hepburn in recent years. Is that something fans and people who care for her should be worried about?
